Discover Your Neighborhood

The University Line BRT project is underway in Uptown, creating dedicated bus lanes and a protected bike lane running from Downtown through Uptown to Oakland. Construction along Fifth and Forbes includes excavation, new sidewalks, ADA ramps, and prep work for future bus stops and signals.

Phase 1 (Downtown) wraps up in Summer 2025, and Phase 2 (Uptown/Oakland) runs through 2027. Expect ongoing lane closures, detours, and parking restrictions in the work zones along Fifth and Forbes as crews install new infrastructure
